Modern, Natural Garden Design In North Wales

Our client approached us with his difficult, sloping coastal site Early in 2023.

The Brief was to "tame" the rugged landscape whilst still being sympathetic to the beautiful costal landscape.

The challenge with steep terrain is to retain ease of access whilst enhancing the existing landscape features and keeping true to ur client brief.

During our studio process we had our "eureka" moment with the intervention of the raised terrace and "sub surface" living / outdoor living room and gym.

By creating an Outdoor Room /  Gym "below ground" we could create an upper terrace to take in the spectacular coastal views, easing pressure on room usage within the new house.

An outdoor kitchen can further this effect and create additional space in the house.

All in all our clients are ecstatic with the results and we look forward to implementing this project on the ground in 2024.

MJM STUDIO is a very professional company. Everyone we worked with were intelligent and professional. The design ideas involved things we wouldn’t have been able to think of ourselves and included levelling and transformation of a wasteland at the back. As it was a big project for us there were bound to be minor issues and these were all resolved in a timely and professional manner. The budget was negotiated fairly and the work done was of a high quality. It was worth paying for good workmanship and excellent knowledge in all aspects of our garden design and construction.” Christine and Gareth Burke
